His family made the sad announcement about Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic frontman of Black Sabbath, recently announced that he will not be performing at the Power Trip Festival in October due to ongoing health issues.

Despite his strong desire to return to the stage, Ozzy shared, “As painful as this is, I’ve had to make the decision to bow out of performing at Power Trip in October.”

In recent years, Ozzy has faced several health challenges, including a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and multiple surgeries. His initial plan was to return to performing in the summer of 2024.

“When the offer to do this show came in, I optimistically moved forward,” he explained, but his health has taken precedence.

Expressing his appreciation, Ozzy wrote, “I love you all, and I will see you soon. Above all, I want to thank my fans, my band, and my crew for their unwavering loyalty and ongoing support.”

Fans quickly rallied around him, urging Ozzy to prioritize his well-being. “There’s no need to apologize; you’ve provided years of joy,” one fan commented.

Reflecting on his career, Ozzy remains determined to perform again, saying, “I am determined to get back on stage, even if I have to be nailed to a board and wheeled on.”
