A five-year-old hero, Noah Woods, woke to flames one Sunday morning and immediately thought of saving others.
When an electrical fire broke out in his home, he rescued his two-year-old sister, Lilly, and their dog. Noah opened a bedroom window, climbed out, and ran to get help from his uncle. Thanks to his quick actions, all nine family members escaped safely, with only Noah suffering a minor burn on his wrist.
The Bartow County Fire Department praised Noah as a hero, stating, “He got himself and his sister out and re-entered the house to alert the family.” He, along with four other family members, received treatment for minor injuries. This Friday, he will be honored as an Honorary Bartow County Firefighter and presented with a Lifesaving Award.
