Joy Behar Snaps At Guest After He Puts Her In Her Place On Live TV

On Friday’s episode of The View, Joy Behar engaged in a spirited exchange with ABC News Political Director Rick Klein.

The tension began when Klein, appearing as a guest, jokingly suggested that Behar might consider a new career, which led to a lively discussion about politics and the upcoming midterm elections.

During their conversation, Behar pressed Klein on why reporters focus on gas prices and whether they also consider Republican solutions, highlighting the importance of thorough follow-up questions.

Klein humorously suggested Behar take on a different job, but she remained focused, refusing to be sidetracked.

Despite turning 80 this month, Behar is still committed to her role on The View, squashing retirement rumors by signing a new contract. “I have no plans to retire. I’m here for the long haul,” she stated confidently.

Behar’s journey on the show has been marked by her resilience, including a brief firing in 2013 before returning in 2015. Reflecting on that time, she commented, “We still don’t know why they let me go.”

Joy Behar’s presence on The View is a testament to her dedication to lively and impactful discussions, solidifying her as an indispensable figure in daytime television.
