Simone Biles’ Parents Who Took Her from Foster Care Aren’t Fans of Her ‘LA House’ in Houston

Simone Biles, a four-time Olympic gold medalist, made a triumphant return at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, clinching gold in the women’s gymnastics final.

Despite suffering a calf injury during the preliminaries, Biles showcased her incredible skills, cementing her legacy as the greatest gymnast of all time with a total of eight Olympic medals and 30 World Championship titles.

Biles had previously withdrawn from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to mental health challenges, including experiencing the “twisties,” a condition that affects spatial awareness.

Her courageous decision to prioritize her mental well-being was widely applauded, leading her to take time off to focus on her personal life, including marrying NFL player Jonathan Owens in 2023.

Reflecting on her childhood, Biles revealed, “Growing up, me and my siblings were so focused on food because we didn’t have a lot of it.” She and her sister were later adopted by their grandparents, Nellie and Ronald Biles, who played a pivotal role in supporting her gymnastics career.

After her wedding, Biles moved into her sleek, modern Houston home, which she describes as “an LA house, but in Houston.” While her parents were initially unsure about her choice, Biles confidently stated, “But it’s not your house, it’s mine.”

Now, Biles and Owens are in the process of building a new home together. Despite her packed schedule, Biles continues to dominate the gymnastics world while enjoying life in her Houston home with her husband.
