Keanu Reeves reveals serious injury he suffered recently while filming latest movie

Keanu Reeves, a cherished figure in Hollywood, recently shared some surprising news that left many fans concerned. Known for his roles in action-packed films like The Matrix and John Wick, Reeves’ latest update involves an unexpected injury during his current project, Good Fortune. On a recent episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the 59-year-old actor revealed he suffered a kneecap injury while filming. This happened during a seemingly routine moment, not an intense action sequence as one might expect. When Colbert asked about the incident, Reeves responded with a bit of humor, saying, “No one got to me. Accident got to me.” He explained that he was not performing any stunts but simply walking into a room.He described the mishap that occurred while he was filming a scene with Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogen. The trio had just finished a cold plunge, and as Reeves did a “cold shuffle” in a room with protective carpets, his foot caught, causing his knee to buckle.
Reeves demonstrated the accident’s impact by mimicking the fall, saying, “I spiked. Like, spiked.Just drove it into the ground.” He added, “My patella, kneecap, cracked like a potato chip,” although he initially did not realize the severity until his knee began swelling. The actor joked about the challenges of comedy, noting, “Comedy is hard, man,” and clarified that the incident occurred during a comedic scene, not an action-packed one.Earlier this year, Reeves was seen filming with crutches and an ice pack on his knee. Good Fortune, which marks Aziz Ansari’s directorial debut, also features Sandra Oh and Keke Palmer.
