Britain’s Got Talent Champion Makes a Stunning Revelation About the Prize Money and What Came Next

Britain’s Got Talent 2024 winner Sydnie Christmas has dropped a bombshell about what she’s done with her whopping £250,000 prize. Despite the life-changing win earlier this year, Sydnie has stunned fans by revealing she hasn’t spent a penny of the cash.

Instead, the 29-year-old singer has decided to put the entire sum into a savings account, sharing that she wants to be responsible with the money and is thinking about her future.

“I’ve put it all away in a savings account because I want to save for a house at some point. All I ever wanted was stability, to be able to move on in the future and one day have children and things like that, so now, luckily enough, I’ve been given that,” she explained.

While her bank account remains untouched, Sydnie’s life has been anything but quiet since her BGT victory. “It’s been crazy! But it’s been really fun,” she gushed.

“I’ve finished working on the album, which is cool. I’ve had a few gigs, really cool gigs, in front of loads of people.

The Blackpool Illuminations was just unbelievable. I heard there was 80,000 people there, but then I also heard there was 100,000 people there. It was just ridiculous, best experience ever.”

Reflecting on her whirlwind journey on Britain’s Got Talent, Sydnie admitted that despite loving the experience, the nerves nearly got the better of her. “Both the semi-final and final, for one, I went last and I nearly threw up.

They kept putting me on last, I was like, ‘Guys, this is not fair two days in a row, Oh My Goodness,’” she revealed.

The tension didn’t stop there. She recalled the nerve-racking moment before the winner was announced.

“It was the waiting before they announced who won, it was awful. I nearly had a full-on panic attack,” she confessed.
