Swift was notably absent from Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s away game at Allegiant Stadium, sparking speculation about her whereabouts and priorities during the festive season.
The decision to skip this year’s game wasn’t entirely surprising, as Swift has maintained a pattern of attending only home games. The singer’s security concerns and demanding schedule reportedly played a significant role.
A source revealed that Swift avoids unfamiliar venues unless her staff has coordinated security measures in advance, saying, “She’s not going anywhere unless she knows the venue intimately and it has been thoroughly scouted and secured in advance.”

Her Eras Tour, which kept the “Daylight” singer traveling extensively for much of the year, also added to her logistical challenges. Kelce, meanwhile, was filmed arriving at Allegiant Stadium on Christmas Day, but Swift was not seen leading up to kickoff.

As for the Christmas Day game itself, the Kansas City Chiefs delivered a dominant performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, clinching a No. 1 seed in the AFC with a decisive 29-10 victory. Patrick Mahomes led the charge with 320 passing yards and three touchdowns, while the Chiefs’ defense stifled the Steelers’ offense.
